Green Peak Energy’s partnership with St Bernard’s College
Saint Bernard’s College engaged with Green Peak Energy to provide a capital-free solar solution for the school through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). This complex project highlights our commitment to finding the right solution for our partners’ needs.
The system is projected to generate nearly 380,000 kWh of power per year. In terms of environmental impact, that equates to removing nearly 400 tons of CO2 from the air annually.
Our comprehensive solution for St Bernard’s College
Two phase installation
Starting with an 84 kW power system on the aquatic center, followed by a 213 kW distributed across seven other buildings.
Sustainability Goals
The system will allow the school to offset 40% of their energy at a rate that is 50% cheaper than grid power rates.
No extra costs
GPE insure, maintain and operate the system, for the life of the PPA, ensuring that no additional costs will be incurred by the school.
